Kolawole Samuel Adebayo lives in Lagos State, Nigeria. Kolawole was a semifinalist for the 2020 Jack Grapes Poetry Prize and won first place in the January 2020 edition of the Shuzia Creative Writing Contest. He was also a winner in the 2019 Button Poetry Short-Form Contest. His chapbook manuscript, INVOCATIONS, was recently selected by Kwame Dawes and Chris Abani for the New-Generation African Poets Chapbook Box-Set Series (Akashic Books, 2021). His works have appeared or are forthcoming in The Hellebore Press, Glass Poetry, Button Poetry, Voicemail Poems, Lucent Dreaming, Praxis Magazine, and elsewhere.
