O-Jeremiah Agbaakin represents the highest achievement in contemporary African poetry, with his chapbook 'The Sign of the Ram' being selected by two of the most respected voices in African literature—Kwame Dawes and Chris Abani—for the prestigious New Generation African Poets Chapbook series published by APBF/Akashic Books in 2023.

His work has appeared in some of the most prestigious literary venues in the world, including Kenyon Review, POETRY Magazine, TRANSITION, Poetry Daily, and Poetry Society of America.

Currently pursuing his doctoral degree in Creative Writing and Literature at the University of Georgia, O-Jeremiah has been recognized with numerous honors including the Graduate Research Award from the Willson Center for Humanities and Arts.
