Nome Emeka Patrick is a Nigerian poet and Cave Canem Fellow whose works have been published in POETRY Magazine, AGNI, The Journal, Narrative, American Poetry Review, TriQuarterly, and elsewhere. A Best of the Net, Best New Poets, and Pushcart Prize nominee with an MFA from Brown University.

Nome Patrick Emeka represents the highest caliber of contemporary Nigerian poetry, with his work appearing in some of the most prestigious literary venues in America including POETRY Magazine, AGNI, American Poetry Review, and TriQuarterly.

His academic journey from Brown University's prestigious MFA program to his current PhD studies at the University of Tennessee demonstrates his commitment to both creative excellence and scholarly rigor.

His chapbook 'Voyaging,' selected by Kwame Dawes and Chris Abani for the New Generation African Poet series through the African Poetry Book Fund in 2024, represents a major achievement.
